How the preference is saved
The banner records your choice in your browser's local storage, under the name cookieConsent. The table on this page lists that record for transparency, although it is not sent as a cookie with every request. It serves as a note of what you accepted, and it remains in the browser until you change the selection or clear the site data. A different browser, a different device or a private window starts without it, and if your browser blocks storage, the choice may not be kept.
What the choice covers
The banner offers two things: essential storage, which keeps your choice and the basic behaviour of the site stable, and an optional analytics preference. Accepting turns the analytics preference on, and choosing essential only leaves it off. The choice is a preference setting for this site. It does not send an inquiry or sign you up for anything, and it is separate from any advertising or measurement tags described in the privacy notice.
Third-party tags and how to limit them
Third-party advertising or measurement tags, for example from Google, are used only where the site includes them, and the privacy notice lists what they collect. Their providers may set cookies of their own or read information from your browser or device. To limit them, change your browser settings to block or remove cookies, or use the opt-out tools that each tag provider offers on its own site. Refusing them does not stop you from reading this site, and you can change your mind later by using the cookie controls on this page.
Reviewing the preference and other sites
You can change the saved choice whenever you like: reopen the controls with the button on this page, or clear this site's data in your browser. Pages run by other organizations, which you may reach through links here, have their own cookies and controls. Read their information before you enter personal details or adjust their settings, because nothing on this page applies to them, and a choice made here does not carry over to another site.
